Baked Rigatoni Stuffed with Beef Ragu & Mozzarella is a hearty dish perfect for family gatherings.

  • 1 pound rigatoni pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook rigatoni according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and onion, cooking until browned.
  4. Stir in garlic, crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Combine cooked rigatoni with the ragu sauce and half of the mozzarella.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish, top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • Let it sit for 5-10 minutes before serving to allow the cheese to set.
  • For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the ragu sauce.
