- 1 pound rigatoni pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook rigatoni according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and onion, cooking until browned.
- Stir in garlic, crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Combine cooked rigatoni with the ragu sauce and half of the mozzarella.
- Transfer to a baking dish, top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
