  • 1 sleeve Saltine crackers
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the Saltine crackers in a single layer.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, allow it to boil without stirring for 3 minutes.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the crackers, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
  8. Once the chocolate is melted, spread it evenly over the toffee.
  9. Mix the cinnamon and granulated sugar, then sprinkle it over the chocolate layer.
  10. Let it cool completely before breaking into pieces.
