A mouthwatering casserole that combines tender chicken with zesty salsa verde, topped with melted cheese for a comforting meal.

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup salsa verde
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 cup corn tortillas, torn
  • 1 can black beans, drained

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, salsa verde, sour cream, and black beans.
  3. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the torn corn tortillas.
  4. Spread half of the chicken mixture over the tortillas, then sprinkle with half of the cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers ending with cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
