  • 4 Honeycrisp apples
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss the sliced Honeycrisp apples with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and flour.
  3. Roll out the pie crust on a baking sheet.
  4. Arrange the apple mixture in the center of the crust, leaving a border.
  5. Fold the crust edges over the apples.
  6. Brush the edges with the egg wash.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the apples are tender and the crust is golden brown.
