A delicious low carb twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, featuring turkey bacon and plenty of cheesy goodness.

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cups bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions and bell peppers until softened.
  4. Add garlic and ground beef, cooking until the beef is browned.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning, then mix in half of the cheese.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, top with the remaining cheese and crumbled turkey bacon.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  • For added flavor, consider using different types of cheese.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
