A rich and flavorful lasagna made with turkey bacon that elevates this classic dish to new heights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 12 sheets lasagna noodles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  4. Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Layer noodles, ricotta mixture, turkey bacon, mozzarella, and sauce. Repeat.
  6. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

Notes

  • Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before slicing.
